“The Engine of Change: Headquarters and Implementation Mechanisms for the Flourishing of Medicinal Plants”
The mechanism for implementing and supervising the implementation of the document on medicinal plants and traditional medicine is the responsibility of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, which is responsible for policy-making, macro-coordination, and macro-supervision of implementation.
The Steering Committee for the Implementation of the Comprehensive Scientific Map of the Country is responsible for monitoring implementation and will submit the necessary reviews and relevant macro-reports to the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution at specific intervals. The Steering Committee for the Development of Science and Technology of Medicinal Plants and Traditional Medicine is responsible for policy-making, executive leadership, coordination, monitoring of indicators, and establishing communications between the necessary government and private agencies to expand technology and knowledge-based industries in the field of medicinal plants and traditional medicine.
This committee has a council and a secretariat.

Four specialists and experts related to the decree of the Chief of Staff
*Specialists are appointed for a period of 4 years and their reappointment is not prohibited. Two specialists are appointed on the proposal of the Minister of Health and Medical Education and by the decree of the Chief of Staff.
Secretary of the Staff*The Secretary of the Staff is elected by the Chief of Staff for a period of 4 years and their reappointment is not prohibited.
B – Duties of the Headquarters:
*The Secretariat of the Staff is located in the Presidential Vice-Minister for Science and Technology.
1- Executive policy-making, coordination, monitoring and follow-up of inter-agency communications to expand activities and monitor actions in the areas defined in this document
2- Preparation and development of an operational plan for implementing the actions of the document each year
3- Guidance and follow-up of interactions between the public and private sectors to achieve the goals of this document
4- Material and moral, scientific, informational support and facilitation of knowledge-based companies as well as projects with technological and commercialization capacity
