“The Roadmap to Victory: Goals, Strategies, and Practical Actions for the Green Revolution of Medicinal Plants”
Considering the unique characteristics of the two fields of medicinal plants and herbal products, as well as traditional medicine, the goals, strategies, and actions of these fields are presented separately and separately as follows:
* Field of medicinal plants and herbal products:
A) Goals:
1- To achieve a 20% share of the country’s pharmaceutical market value through approved products based on herbal medicines and natural products
2- To achieve a 20% share of the country’s veterinary pharmaceutical market value through approved products based on herbal medicines and natural products
3- To increase the export of medicinal plants and herbal medicinal products and herbal products to be among the top 10 countries in the world
4- To achieve a 3% share of the production of medicinal plants and herbal medicinal products in the global arena
5- To achieve a 1% share of global patent registration in the field of medicinal plants and their products
6- To register and cover all exclusive, native or endangered species of medicinal plants in the country in national protection systems
7- To reduce the level of official and unofficial harvesting from natural areas to 10,000 hectares
8- To increase the area under cultivation of medicinal and essential oils with regard to income, foreign exchange and low water consumption

7- Organizing the production and distribution, market and export of products and services in this field and commercialization and branding of scientific and technological achievements in it

1- To achieve a 10% share of the country’s health market value based on the rules and principles of traditional medicine, including compliance with the six principles of health
2- To achieve a 4% share of the country’s treatment market value
3- To achieve a 2% share of the country’s drug market value through approved products based on traditional medicine
4- Appropriate insurance coverage in order to achieve a 30% out-of-pocket payment rate in the field of traditional medicine
5- To improve the health level of the community based on the development of traditional medicine and the use of the six principles of health and a holistic approach
6- To achieve the first rank in the region in meeting health and medical needs in the field of traditional medicine and exporting technical knowledge services and herbal and natural products at the rate of 20% of exports.
7- Annual increase in patent registration in this field in the field of traditional medicine products
